The HIDI Group worked with Ministry of Government and Consumer Services to develop a mechanical, plumbing and electrical technical requirements report for a new consolidated data centre in Guelph, Ontario, with the purpose of run the province’s critical computer applications.

HIDI was then selected by Infrastructure Ontario, MGS’ procurement partner, as the mechanical compliance consultant for the 220,000 ft² mission critical data centre. Acting as compliance engineer, we developed a performance-based concept design, and then monitored progress through all phases of the project, up to and including commissioning. The project was delivered through a Design Build Finance Maintain contract, designed by WZMH Architects,  achieved LEED Gold certification and Uptime Tier IV certification.
