Security & Risk Group Lead
Trisha is a Security & Risk Group Lead who incorporates all-hazards analysis into HIDI’s multidisciplinary design team. Having conducted Threat-Risk and Resilience Assessments across Europe and North America, her analysis draws from a broad knowledge base grounded in industry experience that includes extreme loads and environments, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), hostile vehicle mitigation, blast and ballistic effects, and human factors. She is also adept at coordinating operational requirements with system design criteria, business continuity and emergency plans, insurance policies, and core business objectives. Prior to joining HIDI in January 2015, Trisha held civil and structural engineering positions with firms in western New York and Washington, DC, as well as a research position in construction engineering with the University of Toronto’s Centre for Civil Informatics. In addition to degrees in civil engineering and philosophy, she holds certifications in sustainable design, building commissioning, and critical infrastructure protection. Trisha has also held elected and appointed regional positions with the American Society of Civil Engineers. This unique synthesis of forensic and litigation experience with an engineering background enables Trisha to distill qualitative threat intelligence into technical performance requirements.
